Growing Instructions

1. Fill tray with potting mix or coco peat.
2. Sow seeds flat and evenly on medium. Spread out any seed clumps.
3. Spray water on seeds and medium. Do not oversaturate the medium.
4. Place a lightly weighted flat cover on top of seeds to encourage root penetration and even germination. Arugula are mucilaginous so it’s ok if they stick to the cover. Keep them moist and they will come off when their roots develop.
5. Check and water daily until the seeds germinate. Remove weight when seeds have germinated.
6. Cover (black-out) the seedlings with a dome or put them in a dark space for 1-2 days. This will cause the seedlings to grow taller as they search for light.
7. Expose seedlings to light and continue to water as required. Soil should be moist but not damp. Overwatering can cause mold issues or damping off.
8. Harvest before true leaves (third leaf) appears for best taste.
